SAIAT offers that service now to a limited type of building classifications.
Which Categories: Buildings of maximum two (2) stories of residential type H3 and H4, one residential unit only. No refund if any other building type is uploaded.
What to upload: PDF copies of your final building plan ready to be submitted. It is recommended that you combine all pages into one document. You may upload a maximum of four (4) documents, but each can contain multiple pages.
How long will it take: A minimum of five (5) and a maximum of ten (10) business days—remember, business days exclude the SAIAT Office closure period in December-January.
What will you get: A detailed report on the compliance with the NBRs and the deemed-to-satisfy rules contained in SANS 10400.
Consent: By uploading documents, you declare that you have the owner's permission to share them with a third party. SAIAT will not share it with any entity outside SAIAT.
