In this international spotlight, Julia Franco, founder of Cape Town’s Brazilian design and lifestyle platform Nosso, shares reflections from her recent travels through Brazil and her firsthand engagement with the country’s craft, interiors and cultural scene. With a perspective shaped by sourcing, storytelling and a deep interest in the connections between Brazil and South Africa, she offers insight into the ideas, moods and material expressions currently shaping Brazilian design. Moving between objects, interiors, artisanal practices and broader cultural atmospheres, the session explores why Brazil feels especially resonant right now, particularly in relation to colour, softness, craft and a strong sense of place.
