ABOUT THIS CPD EVENT

Hosted by Tandekile Mkize, curator of Threads of Renewal, this conversation opens up the exhibition’s themes through the perspectives of makers whose work is rooted in weaving, textiles and craft. It explores how thread, pattern and process can carry memory, hold history and create space for renewal, while also pointing toward new design futures. At once intimate and expansive, the session looks at craft not simply as preservation, but as a contemporary practice of storytelling, care and transformation.
