ABOUT THIS CPD EVENT

Presented by Cora Manzi, founder of CORA PR, one of Milan’s most respected design press offices, this talk offers an insider view into the evolution of design communication during Milano Design Week, and what it means for brands looking to build visibility on an international stage.

Representing and collaborating with leading design brands, studios, galleries and cultural projects, including Established & Sons, FENIX, Formica, Salvatori, Movimento Gallery, Secolo, Lake Como Design Festival and Brera Design Apartment, CORA PR works at the centre of how design stories are shaped, shared and amplified globally.

Drawing from the fairs, installations, launches and brand moments she works with in Milan, Cora will explore how design communication has moved beyond traditional press visibility into a layered language of storytelling, positioning, partnerships, experience and cultural relevance. The talk will also look at Milan in dialogue with other international design events, highlighting similarities, differences and opportunities for future evolution.

For Decorex Africa, this conversation forms part of a broader commitment to growing the visibility and confidence of local design brands, not only within the South African market, but within the global design conversation. By bringing international insight directly to the Decorex platform, the talk will empower South African and African designers, studios and brands to think more strategically about how they communicate their work, build media interest, and use platforms like Milan as launchpads for long-term recognition.
