This closing panel highlights Arminda Da Silva aka _imaginethat as Decorex Africa’s featured Artist of the Year and the creator of this year’s Soft Life visual language, bringing her perspective into a broader conversation on creativity, care and technology. Joined by Cphe Nxasana and Benjamin Teschem (Canva Africa), the session explores how designers are using AI and digital tools while protecting authorship, sensitivity and human experience, and how visual worlds can remain culturally grounded in a rapidly changing design era.
