ABOUT THIS CPD EVENT

Regulation A of the National Building Regulations sets out the requirements for the design, submission of building plans, and erection of buildings.

The interpretation of these requirements by owners, registered professionals and local authorities has led to several delays in the approval of building plans. This live online event will go back to the basics and provide guidance on interpreting and applying the regulations. The why, when and by whom of Forms 1, 2 and 3 will form part of the event.

​It is validated for 0.5 CPD Category 1 points for SACAP-registered professionals.

Frans Dekker is the Managing Director of SAIAT and has been presenting CPD workshops for SAIAT since 2008. Frans is chairing SABS TC060 (Standards related to the National Building Regulations) and was a member of the workgroup responsible for the latest review of SANS 10400-O.
